My expectations before reaching Iloilo was not that high because I was thinking that there's really not much to do there. But as I stayed there for a couple of days, all of my assumptions were wrong. The city was well planned(kudos to the urban planner!), there were a lot of developments ongoing as well as developed areas, heritage sites were well preserved, so many beautiful sceneries(Perfect for taking outfit shots. Haha!), no traffic, the city is smoke free, the locals were friendly, and the food there was so good! I would describe Iloilo as a highly urbanized chill city. I don't mind talking long walks there... I would probably walk there all the time! And probably bike around 'cause they have designated bike lanes! I find the place so charming and safe too! One of my favorite experience there was when I visited one of their heritage sites. I always get so amazed with old structures, it's kinda amazing that it still stands there up to this time. They're just so beautiful! No wonder why Iloilo is called the city of love. You'll fall inlove with their food, the kindness of the people, and lastly, you'll fall inlove with the place. I wasn't ready to leave Iloilo at that time, which rarely happens when I travel. There's so much to explore there! Too bad that I only stayed there for a short period of time. Nonetheless, I can always go back there soon! :)
