Blue and gold always look good together, don’t you think? For me, nothing
goes wrong with these two colors. The color combination doesn't only complement each other, the colors also depict elegance. As you can see, this photo and look was taken
last February, and was used for our thesis defense. The required outfit for the defense was business attire. Since our topic was a proposed fashion school, we didn't really go for the usual look, instead we went for something different and stylish. Being the 3rd on our batch to defend, we weren't really prepared with what to wear because we were very busy working on our presentation, editing, etc. But I have to say that everything went well, from our presentation to our outfit. Though it wasn't perfect, still we're very happy with what we have accomplished.
Anyway, let's talk about my look. Since time was an issue before, I decided to wear separates, a top and a skirt. I really didn't go for blazer since I knew almost everyone from the girls were gonna wear one, so I decided to go to a different direction and wore long sleeves with a low back instead. I had my top made by my mom's dress maker since it was hard to find one at the mall. The skirt was also supposed to be made by the dress maker, but the outcome wasn't really what I imagined(it was really a disaster... I'm not kidding). Luckily, I was able to find a gold skirt from Forever 21... and it was the only one left(thank you Forever 21!). Same thing also happened for the heels, it was also bought last minute. Again, I was lucky to find a pair of gold and blue heels from Parisian! It was perfect because it was mid-heel(thesis defense usually takes 1 hour and a half... standing!). And to complete my outfit, I added my gold necklace from SM accessories.
Well, I hope you enjoyed reading this post as much as I enjoyed writing it! Tell me what you think about this post! :)

P.S. I'll be in Puerto Prinsesa on the 10th for our National Congress(which will be from 12-14), and be back on the 16th. It will be my first time there... Sooo, if you have any recommendations, I would love to hear it! :)
